Pro And Cons, Pentax Fuji Finepix S9600, Or Pentax K100D. Which Should I Buy?

Fuji Finepix S9600, or Pentax K100D. Which should I buy? - pro and cons, pentax

I also do not buy it. Both have advantages and disadvantages of deciding policies on equality, and not so easily between them.

Pros S5600 ...
9 megapixel Super CCD technology and Fujise.
10x optical zoom, which is also very good with the macro.
Fixed Lens, which prevents the dust reaches the sensor.
Live preview on the LCD also tilts to allow images from unusual perspectives.
Will videos.
Low cost about 200 € (which is) more than £ 100 cheaper than the Pentax, which means that it is the nearest you can buy a digital SLR camera for that price.

S9600 Cons ...
Electronic viewfinder.
Non-interchangeable lenses (I, in which I as a professional this, but I also see that it is) with a variety of reasons.
This is not a digital SLR camera.

Pros K100D ...
Larger sensor.
Optical viewfinder.
Interchangeable.
Faster burst mode.
This is a digital SLR camera.

Cons K100D ...
Lens kit is only a 3x zoom.
Interchangeable lenses means that the dust on the sensor.
Title megapixel less.
Much higher prices.

Because you are not a rich man to the Fuji. If you are the Pentax lenses, and money to be supplemented. If you do not buy, issued Pentax or Tamron 18-250 mm lens as a lens configuration, but that's another $ 500 - $ 600 U.S. will.

These two rooms can be compared in the digital SLR and the difference as TrueDSLR with any other measures.

Interchangeable lenses is the key. As with the K100D offers many options for buying a super telephoto Lennar fisheye.
If you have more money available, it is your choice. And you'll love it, because there is no limit to the imagination and money.

For S9600, after the purchase should be a little money to spend and the external flash-memory only. They have lots of accessories for the game. But you have a good time for video recording.

Pentax K100D. No question. You'll get better images, especially at high ISO. The sensor is physically larger. The camera will grow with you. You can add additional lenses, and later as their needs change.

Direct Account megapixels. The Pentax is better than a S9600 with more megapixels, just because the sensor is actually larger.

Pentax. No contest IMO.

The larger sensor than offset a small number of pixels *. Every K-mount lens made since 1975, the Pentax mount. Yes It will focus manually, but because Pentax has image stabilization in the camera body to take sides. That gives you plenty of quality glass choice.

After using a digital SLR camera since 1971, can not imagine not change with a direct view through the lens and the ability to lenses when necessary.

IMO unnecessary anxiety you put the dust collector. If you are careful to keep the body of the camera downward when changing lenses and not to change lenses in a sand storm that should have no problem.
